Cabin Baggage.

Rules for cabin baggage can vary. It all depends on which airline you travel.

If cabin baggage weight and dimensions are not within the respective airline restrictions, the Airline has the right to send your baggage as checked baggage and a  surcharge will occur.

Liquid in cabin baggage

In October 2006 the EU updated the rules about liquids in cabin baggage. Following quantities must be brought on board:

  • Liquid, perfumes, gels and sprays – max. 100 milliliters – equivalent to one per deciliter container
  • You may carry several containers (bottles, cans, tubes, etc..), but they must fit into a transparent one-liter bag, which must be closed (1 bag per passengers)
  • The bag must be re-sealable. Please in the bag all
    Liquids and liquid-like substances include gels, lotions, mixtures of liquids and solids and the contents of pressurized containers, for example shaving foam and spray cans. Moreover, all kinds of beverages, toothpaste, hair gel, perfume, lipstick, lip-gloss, mascara and other substances of similar consistency.
Medicine, babyfood and dietary products

You can carry medicine, baby food and fluids as part of a diet if needed in you cabin baggage during the flight. Be aware that the security staff may ask for proof of authenticity of the liquids.  The transparent bag with liquids and possibly medicine etc. must be shown at the security.
